Oakland Green will be hosting a series of teas throughout the year in partnership with Southern HospitaliTea. Our first tea will be held on December 6 to kick off the Christmas Season with two seatings at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. Enjoy a sampling of fine teas accompanied by an assortment of sandwiches, savories, scones and decadent desserts in the setting of our 18th century farmhouse, beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. Cost is $25/pp and a credit card will be required to hold your reservation.

The house and lawns are available for weddings, receptions, family reunions, small conference meetings or other special events. Prices vary according to the event.

We have been raising Black Angus cattle at our family farm for over 20 years. We are pleased to now offer frozen individual cuts of our beef direct to consumers.

Well, most folks like to do absolutely nothing! But if reading, lounging, roacking on the front porch, or taking a stroll around the property, just won't cut it, you can always fish, go horseback riding, take a historic self guided walking tour of Lincoln, bike the W & OD Trail, and...
We want to thank all of our beef side customers for their patronage. 2007 into '08 has been a difficult season for most Farmers and Producers along the east coast and we appreciate that you made the choice to buy local (and all natural). The Horst Cut sheet is available as a PDF download.
All of our sides are spoken for, but we will have by-the-cut available starting in April '08!

.: About Oakland Green :.
The house is built in four different sections, all joined. The log house built in 1730's and restored in 1969; the stone house built in 1740's; brick house built in 1790 -- all 18th century. In 1978, a frame addition was put on the back of the house, so as not to be seen from the front; therefore, as one approaches the house, it is much the same as in the 18th century. (more history...)
